WE DO NOT PROVIDE SERVICE WITHOUT LEARNER’S PERMIT OR DRIVER LICENCE.
- By enrolling in our program, the student confirms that she or he meets the physical requirements mandated by law for obtaining a driver’s license. The student must also present their valid government-issued ID/Permit and, if applicable, their out-of-state driver’s license or permit, at each driving lesson.

- Agreeing to our terms and conditions
- Provide a valid Learner’s Permit issued by the Department Motor Vehicle (DMV)
- Paying through our online gateway
- Please note that all lessons, whether completed or not, are non-refundable. However, if a student fails to complete their required driving hours within 6 months of signing the contract, the contract will be canceled, and the paid fee will be forfeited. If the student wishes to complete the remaining hours with us, they will be required to pay an additional fee.
- We offer convenient pick-up and drop-off services at pre-arranged times and locations. Please note that both the pick-up and drop-off locations must be within our designated service areas. Any changes to the pick-up and/or drop-off arrangements require authorization from our school representative and, if applicable, the parent/guardian of a minor student.
- Students are responsible for scheduling their own DMV behind-the-wheel test appointment. If you’d like to use our vehicle for the test, please contact our school to book a session. Regarding our DMV package (3 hours, including 1 hour of training and 2 hours for the DMV test), please be aware that if the test takes longer than 2 hours, we will not be able to provide a return trip to your destination. You will need to arrange your transportation.
- We provide students with a certified driving instructor and a vehicle equipped with dual-paddle control for the duration of the lesson.
- Abide by and enforce the laws of the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) during instruction.
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather, vehicle issues, school closures, or other uncontrollable events, Five Star Driving School reserves the right to cancel a scheduled appointment. We will notify the student and/or parent as soon as possible in such cases.
- The Driving School will faithfully serve the students and pledges itself to the public to conform to the highest standards of driving instruction and the use of the best motor vehicles it can provide.
- If a student fails to arrive within 15 minutes of their scheduled lesson time, the lesson will be automatically canceled and considered forfeited.
- Cancellation policy: We require at least 36 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in a $65 charge. Additionally, if a student doesn’t have their permit at the time of the lesson, they’ll be considered a “no-show” and incur the same $65 fee. Please note that appointments cannot be scheduled online.
To cancel an appointment or reschedule please EMAIL to drivewith5star@gmail.com or info@drivewith5star.com or/and CALL/TEXT message to +1 (619) 771-2233 and let us know.

This fee will be applied to cover the costs of cleaning, sanitizing, and any necessary repairs to the vehicle.
