California law requires 17½-year-olds to complete Driver’s Education. Instructional permit holders under 18 must also complete at least six hours (3 lessons) of driver training with a professional instructor. In addition, they must finish at least two hours of professional driver training before they may legally begin practicing driving with a parent or guardian.

I had a great experience with my instructor, Samim. He would calmly correct me whenever I made any mistake which helped build my confidence with each class. I think it helped that he held me to somewhat of a higher standard throughout each lesson than the actual test, so I was able to pass after just 6 hours of lessons.

I’m a 22 year old woman who had 0 driving experience before this year, I never thought I’d be really able to handle the road confidently due to a fear of driving. But my instructor was great and patient with me for my entire lesson plan, showing me all the little things I needed to do and even running me through all the possible drivers routes before my test. Great Driving lesson for taking Behind. The wheel exam. I take my mom for a driving lesson, My mom was very nervous and she doesn't speak English, He explained everything very clearly to her, He is very patient and nice and explained every step clearly. He gave my mom lots of tips for taking the exams. My mom passed on the first try after taking the 2-hour driving test with Five Star Driving School, I would definitely recommend it. It's worth money and has great value.

We had a great experience with Five Star. We saw them driving around our neighborhood and when it came time for my 16 year old to take driving lessons we called! Sameer (Sam) was very patient and kind. He was very helpful with little tricks regarding placement on the road and where to stop behind the crosswalk. Lots of other super helpful hints. We’ve recommended them many times and I think everyone has been equally happy!! Ps. Also loved that communication could be done via text…. So much easier for me!

Both of my kids took driving classes from Sam and passed on the first try. Sam is a great driving coach. When the class is scheduled he comes on time. He thinks through the program for each class. 3 classes was enough for both of my kids. We did them with intervals to give each child enough time to practice in between. Sam cheered them on even the day of the test. My daughter did 0 mistakes. Sam is very trustworthy. Highly recommend the school and the teacher.
